Tevez is out of contract and the Milanese giants are ready to lure him to Appiano Gentile...
Inter are reportedly favourites to sign Manchester United striker Carlos Tevez, as he will be free to find another club when his current deal, which was brokered between the English giants and Media Sports Investment, who own him, expires this summer.
Sportmediaset claims the player has refused a number of offers from Sir Alex Ferguson, as he wants out of Old Trafford in search of regular football. Dimitar Berbatov's summer arrival has seen Tevez being used sparingly, and his chances of first team action have been limited at best.
With an exit looking likely, Inter are moving to land the Argentinean striker. Jose Mourinho is keen on the hitman, as is president Massimo Moratti, who wanted to sign Tevez when he played for West Ham United.
Reports suggest that the Nerazzurri are waiting to pounce as they consider the striker to be the ideal partner for Zlatan Ibrahimovic. Mario Balotelli, Julio Cruz, Adriano and Hernan Crespo are all unlikely to be regulars at San Siro given the various problems that they have all had with their coach.
It is believed Inter will get the transfer ball rolling when they arrive in Manchester later this month for their Champions League clash with the Red Devils. The key will be to tempt the striker with a lucrative deal, in addition to convincing him that a move to Serie A would be a positive step for his career.
Manchester City, Chelsea and Real Madrid are some of the other clubs to have shown an interest in Tevez.
